According to the latest at NOAA's webpage, looks like Hanna's taking an extended tour of the Bahama's (who can blame her!) and won't get here until later Friday. Gives me a few more hours of breathing room, but it still will be a Cat 2 when it slams into the coast, which means it could still be close to hurricane strength by the time it crawls up the interstate to my house.
The main thing I will have to worry about is tree limbs. I'm surrounded by pine trees, and they shed branches in storms like crazy. Note to self: get up to the attic and get down the boxes of books, any art, anything that you'd be devastated if it got wet and ruined.
Also should get caught up on the laundry, just in case. Probably try to run last loads Thursday.
Count ostomy supplies, make sure there's enough for 4 or 5 changes and wafer disasters.
Watch, with all this, she'll decide to just wander up the coast instead. ;-)
