Just a weather update...
... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to
7 am EST Monday...
The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a Winter
Storm Warning... which is in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to
7 am EST Monday. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in
effect.
Rain will change to snow by early this evening. The snow may be
heavy for a brief period before midnight. The snow will taper off
toward Monday morning. Total snowfall amounts will range from
around 2 inches in the Columbia area to 2 to 4 inches in the
western midlands.
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
Luckily, I did my grocery shopping yesterday, so there's plenty of food and stuff for me and the cats. The front porch and the driveway are swept clean, so it won't be treacherous to get out that far, anyways.

Kitties are doing their part to keep me warm, too. ;-)
Stay warm.
