Things to do today

Making a list so I don't forget...

1) Go to the grocery store
--Done. 7am, right after the Publix opens, is the BEST time to go shopping. Everything's stocked, no lines, and the people who work that shift are friendly.
2) Put up the groceries
--Done.
3) Clean out the fridge
--Done, with extreme prejudice. I found three opened and half-used jars of jam or preserves in varying states of OMGWTF, exorcised the leftovers from I can't remember when, emptied the two-week old milk, and tossed the lemon juice that was starting to taste more like the plastic bottle than anything else. The jams were replaced with a jar of pear preserves made with strawberry juice I bought yesterday from a local organic grower (that will be going on my biscuits this morning). The leftovers will be replaced with whatever I cook today. The milk and lemon juice were bought new this morning in smaller sizes so they don't go bad before I finish using them.
4) Go to a drug store
--I need more Burt's Bees conditioner, and I have a coupon for some foot detoxing things I want to try.
5) Take Mom to Lowe's
--She needs a new front porch mat
6) Start Heavenly Sword
--I have been warned by a gaming blog that I need to stick through the first hour or so to get to the good stuff. I think I can accomplish that, since: a) I really love the concept of this game; and b) if I can get through the first couple of hours of Final Fantasy X (no offense, but Tidus is a real drag on his own), I can get through just about anything. ;-)
7) Wash, dry and put away three loads of laundry
--One load (the towels) is ready to be put away, need to start the regulars load, then the delicates.
8) Empty the dishwasher
--I have a bad habit of not emptying it until both sinks are full of dirty dishes. :-p
9) Clean the cat pans
--Daily chore
10) Make data CDs for the car of game, game remix, and anime music
--The jack that lets one hook up an MP3 player just doesn't get good sound quality, no matter how much money I pay for the cable. It's easier to just make data CDs and do it that way.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something... oh yeah! Drink vodka and catch up on my grossly neglected NetFlix watching. ;-)
